Physics and mathematics teacher Daliborka Odobaša graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry at the University of Belgrade, where she developed a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of science. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s degree at the same esteemed faculty, further deepening her expertise in physical chemistry, radiochemistry, and nuclear chemistry.
Throughout her academic journey, Daliborka attended numerous workshops, specialized training sessions, and internships within her field of interest, gaining valuable hands-on experience and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in radiochemistry and nuclear science. Her passion for teaching and science has driven her to gain diverse teaching experience by working in various schools in Belgrade, where she has successfully inspired students with her enthusiasm, clarity, and ability to make complex concepts accessible.
Now, she is committed to inspiring a new generation of curious young minds at the International School, striving to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications by integrating creative examples and hands-on experiments into her lessons. Her teaching approach emphasizes the importance of understanding science as a dynamic and engaging discipline, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Beyond her professional pursuits, Daliborka enjoys spending her leisure time camping in nature, solving puzzles that challenge her problem-solving skills, reading scientific literature and general interest books, and sharing her time with her loyal dog.
Her diverse interests and ongoing professional development reflect her dedication to both her personal growth and her duty to nurture a sense of wonder and inquiry in her students, making her not just an excellent educator but also an inspiring role model in the sciences.
